Another Charity Donation for Worthy Cause in the Local Community

Our Supply Chain Coordinator, Megan Pollard, was the August winner of Sentura ‘Shout Out’s and won a £100 donation to a charity of her choice.

The Sentura ‘Shout Out’ initiative recognises the hard work and dedication of our team members, allowing people to ‘shout out’ their colleagues and highlight where people have excelled or gone above and beyond.

Megan chose Second Helpings, Stamford, for her donation – and even completed a day of volunteering there last week, keep an eye out for another blog all about that!

Second Helpings is a well-known project which aims to support the local community and those who need help.

Based in the heart of Stamford, the kind volunteers work with local suppliers and supermarkets to redistribute surplus food nearing its best before date to the community.

Their aim is to ‘feed bellies not bins’, and they are not only helping those with restricted access to food, but also helping to reduce unnecessary waster and working to reduce the community’s environmental impact.

Another very worthy cause supported thanks to our brilliant workforce!
