Congratulations to our NEW Culture Champion!

On Wednesday 15th December, the Sentura team gathered in person at the Rutland Hall Hotel for the first time in almost two years! This was for the company’s last ‘One Team One Vision’ meeting of 2021.

The meeting was an opportunity to review what a year 2021 has been, including the highs and the lows. The team also planned and took a look into the future at what 2022 may hold for Sentura Group.

The Sentura’s values champion award for the final third of the year was also announced during the meeting. This went to Lorraine Crawshaw, Sentura’s long standing Customer Care Assistant. However, most recently Lorraine has taken on the new role of Credit Control which she is doing amazingly, so the recognition is well deserved, and the rest of the team are delighted for her.

The meeting was also attended by a guest speaker, Steve Beckles-Ebusua – also known as ‘The Orange Tie Man’ – who delivered a program called ‘Communicate to Accumulate’ based on understanding Etic and Emic belief systems and the influence of beliefs, feelings, and trust in effective communication.

Finally, the Sentura team chose the charities they wish to support throughout 2022, which are NSPCC, Mind, and the Rapid Relief Team.  The company hasn’t fundraised for these specific charities before, so watch this space to see what fundraising activities we get up to on their behalf next year!
