Sentura has donated 1000 packs of Lindt Chocolate Easter Bunnies to the patients of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the charities chosen by the Sentura team to support during 2020 and is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals and an international centre of excellence in child healthcare. Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive at the Hospital.

Managing Director Laurie Pollard commented; ‘We are very pleased to be able to show our support for Great Ormond Street this way.  We had the chocolate in stock to give to our customers as Easter gifts but with many of these businesses closed, we realised that we were going to have a large amount left over so decided to donate them instead.  We hope that they will provide some enjoyment for the children in the hospital over the Easter period’.

A spokesperson from the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity team said: ‘We were delighted to receive the Chocolate Easter Bunnies and they will certainly make Easter extra special for the patients. On behalf of the patients, families and staff at GOSH, I would like to say a very big thank you to Fire Depot for your generosity. Your support is really very much appreciated’.

The Sentura team is also looking forward to being able to do some fundraising activities for both of our chosen charities for 2020 – The Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance and Great Ormond Street Hospital – later in the year.
